Sherod park

Located on the shores of Lake Erie, Sherod Park is just a few minutes west of charming downtown Vermilion.  This expansive, 24-acre park is one of Vermilion’s premier lakeside parks with unobstructed views of the lake and beach access.   Stay late to enjoy the sunset! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.

"You couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue in one of Ohio's most charming small towns." - Linda Lackey (Linda's Other Life)

vendors

The Vermilion Beach Market welcomes over 100 talented and inspiring vendors carefully curated for this eighth annual event. Boutique and food vendors will be located on the west side of the park, in a grassy area just steps from the beach and a beautiful view of Lake Erie. The complete line-up of 2024 vendors will be announced in early spring! In early summer, we will be begin a countdown to the market by showcasing each of our vendors on Facebook and Instagram.

vintage vw buses

On Saturday morning, vintage VW buses roll in to the Vermilion Beach Market to vend vintage merchandise, sell hot dogs and, above all, add to the vintage summer vibe. LeakOil, a laid-back group of vintage VW bus owners, uses Lake Erie as their geographic common denominator for informal gatherings.
